Blinded Love – Teaser

Gwynn sat in the edge of her bed in as the unimaginable news was delivered to her fragile heart.  Although the final letter was expected, she secretly hoped that he would love her back.  Despite the pain, she understood why.  After the accident, many things had changed.  People grew distant and uncomfortable around her.  Close friends drifted away and moved on with their lives.  Yet, through it all she found hope in the promise that the life and love she once held dear would return to her.  As the tears slipped out from under her long, dark eyelashes she whispered a plea for privacy.  Listening as the footsteps grew faint behind her she clutched what was left of her one and only love.  The letters were all she had left and she vowed in her heart that she would never part with them.  Her beloved was alive, but to her he was gone forever.  As the sun diminished into the night Gwynn tearfully reflected on her life with David.  Although other faces had faded through time…his was so clear, so handsome and kind.   She fought back the anger and resentment as she realized that even though he had moved on with his life, she was still in love with him.  And the times when he loved her back…those were forever trapped in her memories and in the letters she could not read.
